The Group
The organisation was founded in 1968. In 1989 following a restructuring exercise, Hai Ming Holdings Berhad was formed and became the holding company of the group.

Hai Ming Holdings Berhad was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in June 1994 with an initial paid-up capital of RM19.8 million. Hai Ming Holdings Berhad has through its subsidiaries, Hai Ming Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., Hai Ming Paper Products Sdn. Bhd., Hai Ming Marketing, Paragon Paper Mills Sdn. Bhd., Hubei Huali Paper Mill Co., and Hai Ming Industries Sdn Bhd., emerged as a dynamic and significant player in the paper industries with both upstream and downstream activities.

The Five Main Categories Of Business
The Group's core business is the manufacturing of paper and its related products which can be summarised into five main categories as follows:-

  1. Recycling of waste paper into tissue paper and kraft papers
  2. Production of PE coated kraft paper and paper core.
  3. Converting paper into paper related products.
  4. Trading in stationery, paper and paper related products
  5. Manufacturing of woodfree paper
